Algorithmic 3D printed chains

Developed in Grasshopper, numerous parameters can be altered by sliders to create different closed loop chains.

Project to algorithmically model the production of a chain in grasshopper. Many aspects of the shape can be modified using sliders.

When possible I enjoy using grasshopper in projects as it gives the ability to easily create massive variability in 3D models, in this case modification of parameters is achieved by the use of interactive sliders however the same process can easily be integrated into to the algorithm to produce a huge design space as output.

The chains created in this project can (with the right settings) be printed in a continues loop, they are interlinked by the process of printing.
